Research topic
In recent years, the global climate change problem made a higher demand for greenhouse gas (GHG) emission.
This study is aimed at solving the difficulties in determination of methane production in dairy cows, such as complicated operation and lack of effective prediction models and databases.
The estimation models and mechanism of methane production in dairy cows at different stages will be established, by means of statistics, microbiology and metabolics.
The emission of methane will be regulated from the nutritional point of view, so as to achieve the purpose of reducing methane emissions.
