HappyMoo aims at enabling farmers, veterinarians and extended workers to evaluate the welfare of dairy cows.
HappyMoo is an Interreg NWE project that started October 2018 and will continue till April 2022. The project should lead to the construction of tools able to monitor the absence of hunger, disease and stress of animals and to reduce costs associated with these issues. The tools will be built by European teams, milk recording organizations collaborating with research centres working on the thematic of milk mid-infrared spectroscopy.
