Collective research – Development of new biobased paints
2012-2014 | 1 Phd
The objective of this project is to propose “greener” paints for consumers, as effective as those currently available on the market.
We observe nowadays the development of new biobased products in many industrial fields. In the formulation of new biobased paints, the main challenge is the very limited range of bio-based alternatives with sufficent quality, cost and avaibility.
In this context, this project aims at incorporating in decorative paint formulations some biobased compounds arising from lignocellulosic second generation biorefinery.
